LADIES LADIES LADIES......COVER UP DAMN!

Cover what up? There's no over-exposure in those shots. I say TAKE IT OFF DAMN! who wants to see women in frumpy t-shirts. Show some booty if ya got it. Stay home if ya don't.

I am refering to over all all the photos of the ladies with the azz cheeks hanging out. it is also a family holiday save that for the actual beach. you cant walk down virginia beach like that you will get tickited. there is no public display of thongs and you have to cover up your suit and I think that's a good thing I do not wish to see T&A everywhere my entire time at the beach/strip i can look down and see my own why would i want to look at the next chicks?

now see, there's part of the problem. It's Memorial Day -- when we remember our war dead. What part of family holiday is there in that?

Seems your standard of decency is higher than some of our visitor's -- but, there are plenty of people in the world who think a simple bikini is obscene. Maybe they're right. Some think it's obscene for a woman to show any skin at all -- maybe they're right. And in most of the rest of the world, topless on the beach is normal behavior and they think we're a bunch of Puritanical prudes. Maybe they're right.

whats your group called?NACCP did you real good with all these fee's and crap they put on your bike week!!!!HOW MUCH DID THEY GET OF YOUR 10 BUCKS?LMAO LOWEST TURNOUT OF THE BLACKBIKE WEEK EVER YEA BOY KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK LOL

The Atlantic Beach Bike Fest was still racially supervised. Harley Rally - no cover charges, no highway dividers, not as many cops. What happened to equal opportunity? For the harley rally there was 2 police for every 1 biker, for bike fest there was 10 police for every 1 biker. WHats up with that.

Part of the difference is the typical age of the biker. Most(notice I did not say all) ABBF participants are under 30 (and that is being generous). The amount of alcohol and mischief of that age is much higher than the older harley crowd. I saw a man driving side-saddle down the street probably going 30/40 mph. That was cool, but not exactly safe. I am sure if Myrtle Beach was a popular spring break hang out and spring break nationwide was one particular weekend it would be similar with the restrictions and police supervision. I bet most Harley folks don't shove 3-5 extra people in a room, because they are all older and their backs would hurt too bad sleeping on the floor (just kidding). Seriously if you look at the age and the behavior and take out the color a lot of that still makes sense.

To all of you that complain about a $10 cover charge you don't realize that AB is trying to get more development. They get as much $ from tourist because they have less development. You should support the beach, and is $10 really that much to pay for the support AB has given you?

BBW was racially supervised? What does that exactly mean?Harley week had 2 police for every biker(hmm dont recall seeing 400,000 police) BBW had 10 for each biker(hmm, again the 2,000,000 police hid themselves pretty good)People like you need to work with the facts, instead of fabricating issues and trying to stir up trouble. Did you ever think maybe the city and police determined the best way to keep bikers and general public safe was to implement different changes for each rally? The Harley rally had fees for parking, camping and attending several events also. You want everything free? Finally some one is trying to structure BBW, (because sooooooo many complain about having nothing to do)so the next thing you do is complain about a measley $10. NAACP made $$$$$ off their lawsuits on YOUR behalf? SUE them for the $10. Keep complaining, crying wolf. Your lack of self accomplishment shows.

ladies email yo boy at lilrich481@yahoo.com

2 police to 1 biker vs. 10 police to 1 biker, you don't see a problem with that?the $10 fee is cheap but the harley riders were not subjected to the same fee that's why they are crying. and there was not a specific traffic plan the harley riders had to go by like the sports bike riders. M Lee you seem like have a little racial problem the NAACP sued because of the treatment they were recieving during the bike fest was unequal and it still is. to all of you racist S.O.B's posting up here you can kiss the nation of black people's behinds. my friends show up year after year why... to ride their bikes they are bothered by the treatment but they do what..come back the next year. the little bit of money they are spending during those three days at m.b. it doesn't cover a days worth of their pay so they're not worried at all.if they stop it in M.B. they will just gravitate to FL in September!

Some people just like trouble. I pray that I am living to see whites and blacks really as one. I am so tired of hearing about color and race. Race to see who get to heaven the fasest. People who keep concerns over race are racing to hell.

2 police or 10 police. My point I was making was about your math, which apparently like everything I said is way too hard for you to comprehend. If the city feels more police are needed, what does that TELL you?You think they want the added expense? Particular plans for particular amounts of bikes and cars are needed. GET IT? No police or 100 police, you will find fault either way. And once again, harley riders pay for parking, PAY for entrance to the convention center and other extra activities.I don't have a racial problem. Funny how you were the first to bring it up, So typical. I respectfully disputed your numbers and other mis-information your are spewing. YOU called me a RACIST SOB, and I am the one with the racist problem?? Well, here's one you can roll into your blunt and smoke! I have black relatives. In your mind does that make them a racist now or just me? She is my niece and a very sweet girl. Her Mom died at an early age and we have been helping her. I guess I need to kick her and her baby to the curb so I can fulfill my racist ways. I will not lower myself and use vulgarities like you. But go gravitate to wherever you desire and kiss your own behind.

Well, we went and had a nice time. This was my first time, and it will probably will be my last time! It was entirely to many cops! I'm saying Labor Day weekend in NYC don't even have this many damn cops, for that amount of people!

i dont smoke nor do i drink and i have whites in my family so what reading your statements it shure doesn't seem like it...i comprehend math very well. i could give a flying fig if they ride a harley or a sports bike people just need to be treated fairly. did i SAY YOU M Lee are a racist SOB or did I say All of the racist SOB's posting...as for you i said it seems like you have a racist problem talking about the NAACP and the lack of accomplishment showing...but maybe your brain can not comprehend the words that were in the post. Before you insult my intellegence read the DAMN post! if you hadn't noticed the post are from other damn people so you get your stuff correct before you start posting rebuttlas because your f!@#ing with the wrong one! if the parking and admission charging come out equal fine so be it but we all know that there is a diffrence between the way blacks and whites are treated it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see and understand!and furthermore the NAACP sued because of UNFAIR TREATMENT that's the BOTTOM LINE they would not have been involved if it wasn't they would not have the 1-800 number listed at the bottom of their webpage to call if you were treated unfairly during bike week if that was not the reason. so you believe what you want you're the one that brought up the NAACP and the lack of accomplishment showing showing a little racial insensitivity. I will always stand up for and with my people!

Yo, I can see why more police are needed, let me explain. I have been coming to ABBF for 10 years. Each year there are at least 5-6 even more Deaths. Its not always the CARS Fault. I kats would ride like they have some brains instead of having them splattered all over the pavement. I have had my shirt sleeve Ripped cause a Kat brushed me too close...had he taken my arm off I couldn't even h ave chased him down.
I am glad to see the cops on every corner...Cause if one kat goes down acting a Fool, and I am behind him, he can take me out and the people behind me...
#2 The Harley people bring Campers and some Ride to their rally....We generally pull our bikes and Park the SUV, Truck or whatever..BUT, BUT, Theres the Car loads of SUV's Who want to just cruise and show off their Candy paint, and how much $$$$ they can Pi$$ in the wind by wasting it on 26 inch rims on a $30 car. THe curious onlookers X 10. THis is where the problem is...too many CARS!!! ITs a Bike Rally not a GD Car show. If you ask me the Custom car scen h as taken a turn for the worst...I can't stand those BAMA, Countryfied looking Jacked up Cars...thats the stupidest looking sh*T i have ever seen. A Chevy should be riding Low on Hyrdraulics if anything...Riding high is for 4x4 Trucks...Lowrider baby..4 ever.

It's a shame that people can't beyond the color of the skin. This was/is and always will be an issue of age and maturity. When you add the level of alcohol that is drunk then you just bring out the worst, not the best, in people.

I was down there and I saw riders driving in without paying the admission (20% according to the town manager) - I don't see Harley riders sneaking into the convention center without paying. I saw girls without panties showing what they had to guys while they took pictures with cameras and cellphones - that behavior is saved for the bars during Harley, not the street where children are walking around.

The one person brought up a good point about the NAACP. Get past the racial thing for one second. If they sue the city, the rest of us townpeople have to pay for the lawyers that the city will use. They claim discrimination. Making blacks drink from a different water fountain because of their color is without a doubt, racism. Deciding to close my business (hotel or restaurant) because in the years past I have had to repair damaged rooms, had people leave without paying or traffic makes it impossible for me to get customers is not racism. That is good business sense. But not to the NAACP. If I go to downtown Detroit and get mugged by black people, can I sue the NAACP? Sue the town? Especially if I see black people around me that aren't being mugged. Where does it end?

They forgot the one tenet that they have been founded on - the erasure of racial boundaries and walls. If someone wants to close their business, THAT IS THEIR RIGHT! If there is none of the behavior you are having to defend then the bikers will take their money to some other business and it'll be good for that owner!

Both sides need to stop portraying it as a racial issue. It's age. If you want to go to another town to celebrate a holiday meant to honor the dead, not the BEHIND, then do so. Don't make threats. The town doesn't care - trust me. If the NAACP, Black Bikers Assoc., whoever announce that they'll no longer come to Myrtle Beach, there will be a demographic group to slip and be glad to take your place. Quicker than you blink.

Be a victim once and you will learn. Victimize yourself and be one forever.

"The only shame is to have none."

I am a native of Myrtle Beach.I moved from Myrtle Beach in 2000.My last visit to Myrtle Beach was for Bike Week back in 2005.I have been to Bike Week every year since i was 12 and it has gotten out of hand for BBW(Black Bikers Week) and the HBR(Harley Bikers Rally).I've seen things go wrong for both rallys. But I've also seen things go right.Everything didn't go wrong for bike week. The extra protection from police to me was God sent.Last year a polce officer stopped a group of guys from breaking into my husbands car, while on the next level of the parking garage ,his brothers car was being stolen. So if it weren't for the police we would have been trying to ride our moptorcycles home.So to the city of Myrtle Beach "THANK YOU"

if they left without paying that can be recuperated when you check into a hotel you have to provide id they take all the information down just in case you destroy something. most resturants are set up so that you can not just walk out without paying...you pay before you eat or the register is by the exit. As far as being robbed blacks are not the only ones robbing people the victims and perpetrators are of varying races. in this world people sue whoever for whatever so it would not be unusual to sue the city or whatever because you are robbed. yes it is an issue of age and maturity but some of there comments are racially motivated so the responses are racially motivated.i don't have a problem with race but when you talk about my race i am going to say something. yes there are some that are doing all of the wrong things but that does not mean it is everyone, and that goes for all races!

I watched a cruiser run into the last bike in a pack of the Rough Rider club north of Atlantic Beach. Both riders got jacked up as they were rolling about 40 MPH. Nobody was speeding, or doing anything wild. The at fault rider lost focus for a second! When he tried to panic stop on the front brakes the bike tucked, and down they both went. It was truly an accident. Now, with that said I have come to Black Bikers Week for the past 5 years and never got a ticket. I used to think it was because I was being safe on my bike and not doing crazy crap. But now after the past few years, I think I was just lucky. I feel that in the past few years that police are over enforcing during the sportbike event. I have seen $300 fines for changing lanes too soon after signalling, $300+ for pipes too loud on a Busa, and so on. I can appreciate having a high police count for safety, but geez, $300+ for a noise violation. I saw a fella get locked up on ocean blvd for stopping traffic (which could barely move anyway) just to take a friggin picture of a girl on a bike. It was no more than a 15 second pause.....off to jail his azz went. Do I think it's cool to stop traffic? NO! But damn... JAIL? That's a damned shame. So, I can see the safety side of things but the fines seem to be made up depending on the temperature of the officer's attitude. Joshua metioned the typical ages of participants in the Black Bikers Week vs. Harley Bikers Rally, while I agree to some point with the age difference, the next statement.."The amount of alcohol and mischief of that age is much higher than the older harley crowd." while probably true seems to make the Harley Rally no less deadly according to the newspapers. It sems every year when I arrive at Black Bikers Week, there is buzz about how many deaths happened the week before at Harley Biker Rally. I see good point by alot of folks but I still have come to believe that the Black Event is "Over Enforced". One last point - I saw a police car get hit at about 5 am in front of Ocean Creek Resort on King Hwy. It was obviously dark, the officer had no emergency lights on and made an turn that I would probably been arrested for making after that accident. Total CRAP.

I've been attending BBW for the past 3 years, and I must say that I'm glad that their were less motorcycle accidents thus fatalities this year. I enjoyed myself to the extreme down on south mb where there was no $10 fee and a much bigger crowd than past years.

Who cares about a stupid 10 bux? I went to the eighth mile drag strip, paid 15 bux to get in, and the damned tree didn't work!!!

I think that a lot of people were probably at issue with paying $10 and not being informed what was t the intention of the money... How many times have people been giving an empty promise, and the people don't deliver... I think that historically people want to help the North Atlantic Beach cause. But, no blindly... Did anyone see any literature as to WHO, WHAT, WHERE, and WHY this $10 per person charge was instituted... From a business standpoint (BAD BUSINESS) So, with that said I believe that there should be some sort of correspondence with the BBW crowd... I would venture to say that during BBW there are 200,000 to 250,000 people spending somewhere in the neighborhood of $150 Million DOLLARS!!!!! I think we might want to get CORPORATE AMERICA IN ON THIS TYPE OF CASH!!!! What do ya'll think????? RACISM.... THEY ONLY SEE THE GREEN!!!!

Not saying that this should have happened at all because a man should NEVER RAPE a WOMAN but...what do you think about the young lady in the paper today that reported that she was raped by two men bike week? the thing that's in my mind is their behavior during the event(their dress, actions they made)make men aggressive and think that the only thing they want is sex, I was womdering how long it would be before someone is raped during this event. I hope she recieves the proper help to get over this. This is why I said cover up! Some people are just animals, not everyone is fine with just looking!

Well this is the first year that i had seen this $10.00 fee to get into
"Atlantic Beach" and i hope it's the LAST!!!!

The vendors did not like the fee at all they said they lost tons of money due to the fact people will not pay $10.00 to walk down a public street no matter what kind of entertainment there is...

I hope the city of "Atlantic Beach" can see what a bad idea this was in the first place, because guess what instead of people leaving early like the news paper had said they didn't leave early they hung out on the strip on the north and south side of "Myrtle Beach"...

So the only thing that $10.00 fee to "Atlantic Beach" did was make people stay on the strip where it was free to be...

Get a clue Mayor and City Council of
Atlantic Beach...

You did not help the people of Atlantic Beach at all like you said you would!!

You instead charged a $10.00 fee,,,FOR WHAT!!!the entertainment was not all that..

For clean up PLEASE not all that money went to clean up lets be honest here!!!

According to one vendor he bearly made $300.00 by sat when last year he made over $7000.00,, by sat,, besides that vendors fees where sky high...

Now you tell me how that helped the people of Atlantic Beach...

Well it's about time someone sees that there are ""Way To Many Young People""
that come to "Bike Week" People under age
27 are to young they don't know how to act PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!! even some up until 30 don't act right but the younger guys an ladys is where the problems happen time and time again,,,

The Other Issue Is This Is--> BIKE WEEK!!!!

NOT CAR AND SUV WEEK!!!

LEAVE THE CARS AND TRUCKS PARKED DAMN!!!!

WE THE BIKE RIDERS ARE SICK OF THE CARS THE SUVS AND THE YOUNG KIDS THAT MAKE THINGS HARD FOR US !!!!

YOU YOUNG PEOPLE ARE THE REASON WHY THINGS HAVE GOTTON SO OUT OF HAND IN MYRTLE BEACH IN THE FIRST PLACE CAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO ACT POINT BLANK!!!!

back in 98-99 and before that BIKE WEEK was the bomb it was nice ,,it's turned into some kinda kiddy play ground with the cars trucks and who's looks better mine or yours,,who cares PARK THAT CAR OR TRUCK SO WE RIDERS CAN RIDE THE STRIP FOR A CHANGE!!!
