I agree with Lisa up there when she said that these women that have to show everything to get attention. Do they not understand that they are the ones that men take to the bushes (behind closed doors) and not into public, or around people they care about. Me myself I would never go down there and expose myself like that and I am a beautiful woman with a beautiful body. i was just looking because my boyfriend goes every year but never shows pictures of the women and i can see why now.they come home and show us all the other pictures proudly, all the tight bikes and riders from all over.sections of what i have seen here and elsewhere the men are disrespectful they pull at the womens already skimpy clothing to expose more buttocks and other areas.there are plenty of riders all summer but they do not go around with those types of clothing on.i doubt any of them have gained a good friend that remains in contact with them beyond bike week, never the less a stable relationship from over exposure.you dont see the men walking around in speedos wise up there's nothing wrong with leaving a little to the imagination.women as a whole should respect ourselves a little more than what we are doing.i don't see the harley ridersand their crowd exposing themselves the way the sports bike riders and their crowd did.there is no need for all the public displays of indecency that i have observed and heard about on film and pictures from other bike riders i know.think about it the only ones who are "mistreated"during bike week are the "black" people you never hear about the same things happening the previous week when the "white" people are there.the "black" people need to get themselves together and learn how to act in public.the comment about keeping them behind closed doors is right, I know for a fact my boyfriends parents would not even have a woman dressed like that on their doorstep and they shure as heck don't want them with their son!

Are you aware of how much damage they cause while they stay here? What's the point of someone staying 3 days in a hotel room for $450 when they cause almost that much in damages? 3 to a room? Try more like 5 or 6.

Look at all the police necessary to keep order. The city pays for that as well. Overtime alone for local and state police can be close to half a million. Add in the city's lawyer fees to refute ridiculous lawsuits from the NAACP. These aren't snowbirds from Canada bringing their fat wallets and Buick LeSabres - these are young men and women with crotch rockets and Hennessey.

Take away the police presence in Atlantic Beach - would you ask your wife to go down there at midnight on Saturday, wearing a bikini? I would guess not. But send her to Ocean Boulevard at that time on a Saturday and she'll have a safe experience. The Harley Week is no picnic either. But let's be realistic about both situations. Keeo sending the NAACP, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton down to MB preaching their messages of reverse racism and eventually the towns are going to send their signals loud and clear, not just with 'entertainment fees' and traffic flow restrictions.

A racist is someone who thinks that humans can be separated into various groups based on physical attributes and that these groupings determine cultural or individual achievement and the value of human beings. File your lawsuit, I hope they countersue and use your money to put up more parking meters.

there may be some that destroy property but i am looking at this situation as a whole.my husband is an exception he's a 36year old that makes 100k+ a year and enjoys bringing 1 0f 3 bikes down there each year. he complains every year about the way they are treated but he keeps going every year spending his money because that's what he likes to do.yes, the women need to change their attire and yes, the bikers need to behave correctly and yes, it goes for both races. if every city thought the way i see some of these people commenting thought they would not have money from tourist. i am certian that they are doing more than breaking even over this because trust me EVERYTHING is about MONEY and if they were not making any and things were so bad they would dissolve it like the things they have before it ie. The city required Ocean Boulevard traffic to travel one-way southbound during both rallies as part of its settlement of a federal discrimination lawsuit filed by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. The settlement required the city to use substantially similar patterns for both rallies. The NAACP had accused the city of discriminating against the predominately black Bikefest participants by enforcing a one-way pattern during the Memorial Day Bikefest rally but not during the Harley rally. City officials had said the Bikefest crowds require the one-way pattern and resultingly used it for both rallies. The two lanes that were open were reserved for emergency vehicles to access properties on Ocean Boulevard without waiting in traffic.
Myrtle Beach and other cities can't stop the bikers from coming here. The rally is too big for the government to dictate when and who comes. That being said, our occupancy rates in local hotels are very high -- in the 80 and 90 percents in May, so the area is doing quite well despite the tourists who don't come because of bikers

I am white, and I've been down to BBW twice. I don't even have a bike. Everybody has been kind and polite to me. Me and my wife still try to avoid the weekend because it is difficult to navigate. The great thing about Myrtle Beach is that it has something for everybody, from the biker, to the golfer. I think most people feel this way.

something you need to know,, if the hotels would raise the age of the people they let stay in there hotels to 27 with id,, and check who's in the room making sure it's not more that can actually stay there,,,,

if the room is for 4 that's all that should be in there,,believe me maid service can tell how many people are in a room,,just by the mess,,,,

if the room is $450.00 then they should have to leave a $800.00 deposit in cash,,

and when people are ready to check out the hotel should check the room before they leave,,,then there would not be so much property damage cause people would want thier money back when they check out..

find a way to fix the hotel problems instead of complaining about them
