Health Care Reform Law Exposing Waste And Fraud And Slowing Premium Increases

An increased effort to rein in waste and fraud in the health care industry by the Affordable Care Act saved the taxpayers $4 billion last year, well ahead of the projected pace, which was supposed to be about $5 billion over a decade.

And there is evidence that it is slowing the increases in annual premiums, which is hurting middlemen, a group that will definitely be harmed by the legislation.

A win for the individual mandate
