One thing I learned (though I learned a ton in these three installments, the other posted early): The Constitution only outlines three crimes, treason, counterfeiting and piracy. But Congress has passed more than 4,000 federal crime laws. Why isn't that a blatant violation of the supposed strict constructionist view of the Constitution, the one which demands we read that document only as the Founders meant it?
This also stood out to me, from Part 2: "The courts have ruled that prosecutors can't be sued even if they intentionally manipulate or manufacture evidence that results in the conviction of an innocent person."
