Maybe now Gov. Sanford will do the right thing and step aside. But knowing him as I do (or think I do), he won't. He can save the state a lot of time, money and effort by resigning now and begin his quest for real redemption.

Also, before this thing is over, SLED should have a lot to answer for. SLED failed to find what The Associated press, The State newspaper, and now the Ethics Commission all found.
