Michael Jackson and seven lost soldiers

I agree with this columnist that we shouldn't stop paying attention to what's going on in Iraq and Afghanistan. We shouldn't forget we have about 200,000 Americans still in harm's way, still slogging it out and staring potential death in the face every day. That's a big deal but sometimes, unfortunately, gets overlooked. I also believe making a big deal out of Michael Jackson's passing was appropriate. He is one of the few people on the globe who would garner that kind of attention. Like it or not, entertainment is a major part of our existence, which makes Jackson's passing extremely big news.

Granted, Jackson deserves the attention, but he is not the patron saint of the pedophiles, is he? His escapades of sleeping with young boys was barely mentioned, and when it was it was a short little "politically correct" blurb.

Now, I understand that Sharpton wants a postage stamp honoring this pedophile....how sick can he be?

But the press does forget. We have as many people as we did under W, we have soldiers dying every day. We have a new surge but the press won't call it that...the W surge worked. We will have 50k left in Iran per Obama yet the press repeatedly says all will be out in 2012...just not true. So, why the coverage under W and now no coverage under Obama? Look at the coverage of your own newspaper...are you reporting the deaths as you did before...not anywhere close. WHY?

I have to admit - I always thought he was a child molester because of this guy - I always said why pay out money if you are innocent -
Since he was rich - It was just easier to pay and make it go away - He should not have gave them the 22 million - It made him look like he did it but it looks like he did not now -

He may have been a pedophile but on the other hand -
He may have just been “different” and there is a good chance he never molested anyone - I am not a psychologist but we are talking about a guy who was living in “Neverland” and in some ways still a child - His fascination with children could have been because he never had a childhood himself and not because he was molesting children -

Who knows what goes on in peoples brains -

Even with all his money and talent - He did not seem happy and that is sad -
A forensic neuropathologist will test Jackson’s brain -
